I am going to be a new user of 3d printing.  I need your support. I need to know about medelling.

Should I use CAD software? If I need to use, What will be the soft type? or other softs may be useful? I have developed some ideas but don't know how to materialize them.

Can you give me any ideas?

Hey Hi! Congratulations on your new 3d printer. For modelling, if you are not already a designer it would take you few weeks to understand how it works. I would suggest if you are new, go for free software's like Googlesketchup or Openscad, there are many other open software's out there, but I personally recommend these. And like I said you can also get free 3d models online, which you can then modify using the free software's; you can find 3d models at Google 3d warehouse & GrabCad. So, there you go, don't let your ideas go in vain make use of them. p.s. The how to videos on YouTube are very very useful, you should go check it out and spread the word, Bye. is a free printing support and help site for 2d and 3d printers.
